She had lived in the house with her fiance Liam Hemsworth and her dogs. She cherished the house as her headquarters for her Happy Hippie initiative as well. It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger. Thankful for the all the great local guys that helped keep smaller fires out around my property. I love u guys. I love you Malibu. Thank you to all the hero firefighters around California. It’s going to be a journey to rebuild. Stay strong all. To help/donate visit @malibufoundation and @happyhippiefdn

Miley and Liam on a Healing Path

The music video, which is very political in nature, seemed like Miley’s way of moving on. She put her loss aside and showed her support for the efforts of California Fire Department. The 26 years old singer found solace in the words of her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. She said in an statement,

My dad has always told me, ‘Life is a series of adjustments.’ And sometimes we never understand what our parents are telling us until we start to experience life more because they learn those things as they go,” she said in the interview. “So I’m starting to really understand what that means now. I think experiencing something as life-changing and devastating as a natural disaster, it’s a really deep character challenge, I think, to see the way you react to loss

She also said in her interview with Ryan Seacrest;

For me, I had a choice of post-traumatic stress or post-traumatic growth,” she said. “You feel like you don’t have control, especially when something happens that’s a natural disaster because there is no beating nature; it is really what it is. To be able to go into yourself and to find that growth and say, ‘What am I gonna do about this?’ and being able to be an active member of my community — not as a celebrity figure but just as a neighbor — has just been really a big growing experience.

More Loss to Come

Regretfully, that is not all. According to reports by TMZ, Miley was robbed. Miley’s storage unit in San Fernando Valley was broken into. The thieves stole a number of her guitars from her collection. The stolen items were collectively worth $10,000 reportedly. The worse fact is that Miley, as sweet a person as she is, didn’t realize that somebody stole her stuff.

According to reports, she had thought that her family member might have borrowed them. Most of Miley’s family is in music. It is understandable that they might borrow her guitar from time to time. However, until she realized that the guitars had been stolen, it was already a month. The police will be making a thorough investigation.

We just wish Miley and Liam will be supportive of each other in this hard time.
