Jim Carrey Says He’s Fairly Serious About Retiring

Jim Carrey spoke to Access Hollywood this week and told them about his plans to retire.

Well, I’m retiring. Yeah, probably. I’m being fairly serious. It depends. If the angels brings some sort of the script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road, but I’m taking a break.

In Sonic the Hedgehog, Carrey has stepped into the world of video games where he’s playing the character of Dr. Robotnik (Eggman). He has made two films for Sonic the Hedgehog. However, if he retires the possibility of the third part seems to dwindle.

Carrey Says He Has Done Enough

Jim Carrey has been in Hollywood for the longest time. People still admire the classic and iconic movies he made. The ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ actor now wants peace.

I really like my quiet life and I really like putting paint on Canvas and I really love my spiritual life and I feel like-and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists-I have enough. I’ve done enough. I am enough.

In 2022, the first Sonic movie got released and grossed under $320 million. Three weeks ago, the Sonic Hedgehog 2 final trailer came out. On April 9th, 2022, the film will be available to everyone who is waiting for it.
