Stephen Curry Involved in a Minor Car Accident But He’s Okay

Stephen Curry cannot seem to catch a break recently. He was sidelined on November 8th. The cause was a groin injury. And now he was in a car accident. Not only that, he got hit twice. Miraculously, he came out okay after the accident.

Stephen Curry in a Car Accident

TMZ reported that the Golden State Warrior’s guard Stephen Curry was in a car accident. It happened on Highway 24 in Oakland. Reports are that a car went out of control on the road. It hit the side of Stephen’s Porsche. That was not all. While this was happening, another car hit Stephen’s Porsche from the rear end as well. This happened at 9 a.m. of the Friday morning. CHP reported on the scene. An ambulance and the California Highway Patrol responded to the accident. However, Stephen and everyone involved in the accident came out okay. There were no reports of injuries.

Porsche Totaled

While Stephen Curry came out okay from the accident. Unfortunately, his Porsche was not lucky enough. The bumper on his car came off and the rear end was also damaged badly. CHP is glad that all passengers were unharmed because they were wearing seat belts. Stephen went on about his day.

Stephen Got to Work

Stephen did not let the car accident stop him. He went to the practice after that. Connor Letourneau reported about Stephen’s condition on his Twitter;

This is the same groin injury that has not let him play since the beginning of this month. He had already missed seven games because of this injury. Reportedly, he will be available for play by Monday.

Reason for Accident

While we wish Stephen a quick recovery, there was concern about how the accident happened. CHP reported that the weather might be the cause of the accident. There have been rains in the area recently. It can be the reason why the first card slid and crashed into the car.
