The original Lego movie first headstreams back in 2014 it created a wave of acclaim for animated movies the genius of Chris Miller and Phil Lord lead a benchmark for animated movies to follow from. Hence, when the plans for a sequel to the movie were announced, fans were largely sceptical. The original movie was a sheer masterpiece. And with Lego 2 following suit from one of the best animated movies in the history of cinema, it entailed a lot of expectations from fans. The movie released a trailer this Tuesday. Quite thankfully now, it appears that the movie will live up to our expectations with its optimistic story telling, stunning alluring visuals, and through a promising cameo of Tiffany Haddish.

Despite Different Directions The Lego 2 Trailer Does Not Disappoint

Lego 2 does not come from the stables of Lord and Miller. Donning the director’s har for this sequel is Mike Mitchel. He has evidently proved to have a mastering hand over the narrative style of the original Lego movie. The Lego 2 trailer also featured supporting characters played by Nick Offerman and Alison Brie. Stephanie Beatriz and Arturo Castro have also joined the Lego bandwagon for the movie’s sequel. Will Arnett was also the part of a Lego spin off The Lego Batman. All the actors are elated to be a part of the franchise.

Box-office Success Of Lego The Original

The original LEGO Movie had earned a whopping $256 million domestic from a $69m debut weekend in February of 2014. And if we build around the rule of absence makes the heart grow fonder it will not be a surprise to see Lego 2 taking the box office by storm.
