Zendaya Posts Warning About Euphoria Season 2 Before Premiere

Recently, Euphoria season 2 came out and became one of the most watched on HBO Max. Prior to the series premiere, Zendaya issued a warning for her fans. According to her, this season contains triggering scenes which might be difficult to watch. While the subject matter of the show is not for the weak hearted, this season has more nudity, violence and addiction. Therefore, the actress took it upon her to warn her fans beforehand.

After the first successful season, Euphoria season 2 is back on HBO Max.

A couple of days ago, Euphoria season 2 returned on HBO Max. According to reports, the first episode of the news season attracted 2.4 million viewers. This is nine times higher than the first season of the show. Originally, Euphoria was created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin for Israeli TV channel. However, Sam Levinson adapted the story for American audiences. Euphoria season 2 is also ranked at number 1 shows of HBO. The cast of the show includes Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi. Similarly, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid and Austin Abrams also star in Euphoria.

Interestingly, Zendaya is campaigning for her boyfriend to be included in the show.

Few months ago, Tom Holland expressed his interest in starring in Euphoria season 2. Similarly, Zendaya claimed that she urged the producers to cast Holland in the show. Although they both work together in the Spider Man films, they would love to be in a TV show as well. While talking about it, Zendaya said:

“I mean, listen, we’ve talked about it all the time. We’re like, ‘Let’s just sneak him in the back of a shot or something!”

Despite them not being able to work together on Euphoria season 2, there are chances that Holland and Zendaya might get to be in the next season of the show.

Prior to the release of Euphoria season 2, Zendaya issued a warning for the fans.

In the show, she plays Rue, who is struggling with addiction and depression. After the success of the first season, Euphoria season 2 have broken records. Before the release of this season, Zendaya posted a warning on social media. While talking about Euphoria season 2, she said:

“I know I’ve said this before, but I do want to reiterate to everyone that Euphoria is for mature audiences. This season, maybe even more so than the last, is deeply emotional and deals with subject matter that can be triggering and difficult to watch. Please only watch it if you feel comfortable. Take care of yourself and know that either way you are still loved and I can still feel your support. All my love, Daya.”
