Disney and Marvel made a very, very early confirmation for the ABC Network’s very long lasting, superhero/comic book hero series, Agents of Shield. The series has been confirmed for a seventh season way ahead of time.
The Confirmation for Season 7
The show is presently lined up to air season 6 on ABC Network. The release is expected in July 2019. The season will contain 13 episodes as the last season. At this time, when there were a lot of expectations that the show might get cancelled, Disney and Marvel have confirmed a season 7 for the show. ABC Network picked up the long running show ahead of Upfronts. The shorter season will be cost-effective if filmed back to back.

Quake’s New Look
While everyone is still reeling back from that news. Chloe Bennett who plays Skye aka Quake posted picture of her new look on Instagram. In the last season, Quake was held responsible for blowing up the world. Stranded on a future world, the Agents of Shield. return to present day. Full with knowledge of how their actions will affect the future. However, they eventually make decisions that lead to similar results. In Quake’s case, she stops the crazy Talbot from destroying the world. She will return this season with a heavy heart because of Phil Coulson’s demise. On the other hand, she will be relieved too. She did not break apart the Earth. So, this new look makes us think a lot about what might be in store. With a touch of purple in her hair and her bodysuit, Skye aka Quake is looking subtle and enigmatic.

What’s the Plot?
While the biggest tragedy came in Phil Coulson’s death at the end of Season 5? The shocking tragedy came with Fitz’s death. The fan favorite scientist died while trying to save people in the finale. He was caught under heavy rubble and died of his injuries. It came a severe shock because we saw his wife Gemma Simmons convinced half the season that they will live. The existence of their grandson Deke was her proof. So it begs one question, is Simmons pregnant in the upcoming seasons? If they have already dabbled with time travel, will they go back in time. Maybe to save Coulson or Fitz?
The show was co-created by Joss and Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen. Maurissa is also an executive producer along with executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb. These are the lucky people who know what is going to happen next in the show.
