Pratt’s might demand something high for the role. In fact the actor is now a big name after “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) and its sequel (2019). He also has a long-running repute from NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation.”
This Friday, Deadline reported that discussions are going on to cast Chris Pratt in the remake. Paramount has already gained the book rights for The Saint in 2016 with producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Now it’s the time to pick the best lead.
Simon Templar in ‘The Saint’
The most famous Leslie Charteris’ book series, highlighting debonair Simon Templar was first introduced in the 1928 novel “Meet the Tiger,”. The character became a hit and was then followed by “Enter the Saint” in 1930. Chris Pratt is considered for the new Simon Templar.
Simon Templar has several faces. Initially the character is a simple con, then he turned into a secret agent during World War II. Finally, Templar got the role of a grand fortune hunter. The character’s calling card became global trademark for The saint. Simon stuck his iconic card wherever he did the crime showcasing an angelic halo.
