Bhad Bhabie is known to troll her fans and critics online, but this time she got extra creative. With celebrities being often accused of blackfishing (the act of darkening your skin tone drastically), Bhad Bhabie decided to shift the narrative. She went ultra white in one of her Instagram and TikTok videos. Later she revealed that it was all just a “test” and that everyone ended up failing.

Here was the TikTok video where her makeup is noticeably different

This TikTok video in question was probably a shade to her family members who aren’t supportive of her decisions. She says that even if she’s the black sheep of the family, she is still making the most money so she’s completely at peace with her decisions.

Danielle Bregoli also shared that this short video was just something she wanted to test her fans for.

She changed her makeup style and outfit with a particular goal in mind:

I just want y’all to know that y’all failed the test. Okay y’all, I’m gonna tell you what the test was. We did a wig that had no type of curl to it, like natural curl to it. And we did make-up. And we did make-up lighter than my skin. Barely any contour. Just to see that if y’all would still make the comments. And you did.

People definitely noticed, a lot of them commented on how she looked different. Some made a remark on how “she changed races” and how she looked a lot like Cardi B. Moreover, a lot of people were generally not in favor of this new look.

Though, some people were sending her love and support for her new style.

Some were also pointing out that she was simply changing her makeup style and people were unnecessarily making a big deal out of it.

The young rapper Bhad Bhabie herself said in her Instagram Stories that it’s never actually about what the comments are saying. She said that her critics just want attention from her so they make these comments.

So, now I know. It’s not about me actually, ‘Oh, she looks this. She’s trying to look that’. It’s literally that y’all just want a famous person to respond to you. That’s all it is. If y’all kept saying I have a banana on my head. I said, ‘No, I don’t have a banana in my head’. Y’all would continuously say it no matter if I did or didn’t.

Though, she herself is pretty content with how she looks. There is no swaying her in her makeup and fashion style. While her supporters have nothing but kind words to say to her, it seems like the rising music sensation will never be able to fully run away from controversy.

Danielle Bregoli is known to pave her own path, no matter what the public is saying about her.

She rose to fame after she appeared on the Dr. Phil show for being a “problematic teen”. However, she later came out and called out Dr. Phil for not being genuine on TV and putting the teens in institutions where they have to face mistreatment. Bhad Bhabie recalled that she was abused at the institution where she was forcibly sent. Moreover, she launched the ‘Breaking Code Silence’ movement where people are encouraged to come out and talk about the abuse they endured in correctional institutions.

Plus, she is now releasing her music from her own label ‘BHAD Music’. Bhad Bhabie is following the footsteps of Kanye West and Taylor Swift in owning her masters, citing that Kanye was her biggest influence:

“Kanye brought a lot of attention last year to artists owning their masters. I feel lucky to be 18 and now I get to own mine going forward. I have my own platform to get my music out to my fans.”
